"You did us Micks absolutely proud throughout our pilgrimage to South Africa. Your preparations were impeccable and the care you took to ensure that everything ran smoothly for us from the moment of our arrival until departure was highly impressive"

General Sir Robert Corbett, Irish Guards

  • Long trousers / slacks
  • More formal attire (gents - sports jacket or lounge suit. Ladies - cocktail dress) if you are staying at a prestigious city hotel or are journeying on a luxury train
  • Underwear (sports bra recommended on game drives as the roads can be bumpy and uneven) and socks
  • Good walking shoes (running / tennis / trainers are fine unless you are planning to do any ambitious hiking)

  • Warm Anorak or Parka and scarf / gloves for the cold winter months (May to September)
  • Light rain gear for summer months (late November to April)

  • Personal toiletries
