The Great Namibian Journey

South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique Vacations and Holiday Safaris Namibia. A land of stunning landscapes and endless skies. This journey explores the dunes of Sossusvlei and the open spaces of the Namib Desert. You will encounter the stark beauty of the Skeleton Coast, view the marine life off Swakopmund and be thrilled by the game filled savannas of Etosha. Scenic flights, a dolphin cruise, hiking and cycling, and interacting with traditional Himba people are all part of this wonderful trip.

Days 1-2: Beginning the journey at Windhoek, you are transferred to Kulula Camp, Sossusvlei
Days 3-4: Transfer by road to Swakopmund
Day 5: Drive to Damaraland Camp, Damaraland
Days 6-7: Transfer to Palmwag Rhino Camp, Damaraland
Days 8-9: Transfer by road to Ongava Tented Camp, Etosha
Days 10-12: Fly to the Research Camp, Skeleton Coast National Park
Day 13: Fly to Windhoek and your onward flights

Best of Namibia Wing

This fly-in safari explores four distinct regions of Namibia: the dunes of Sossusvlei, the coastline at Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, the stark plains of Damaraland, and the abundant wildlife on the Etosha savannah.

Days 1-2: Fly to Sossusvlei Camp, Namib Desert
Days 3-4: Fly to Walvis Bay for a dolphin cruise and a tour of Swakopmund, before moving on to Damaraland
Days 5-6: Fly to Ongava Game Reserve and Etosha region
Day 7: Transfer back to Windhoek and onward flights

Namibia Self-Drive

A two-week self-drive adventure covering the best of Namibia.

Day 1: Arrive Windhoek, collect hire vehicle and relax and acclimatise
Days 2-3: Drive north to Okonjima Bush Camp, home to the AfriCat Foundation, famous for cheetah rehabilitation
Days 4-7: Continue north to Okaukuejo Resort, Etosha. Situated at the southern entrance to the park you are ideally located to explore Etosha during the next four days
Days 8-9: On today to a Rest Camp in Damaraland and time to explore the surrounding desert region
Days 10-11: Drive to Swakopmund to enjoy the coast here and at nearby Walvis Bay
Days 12-15: On now to the stunning dunes at Sossusvlei and your base at Sesriem Canyon
Day 16: Time to return to Windhoek where you drop-off your hire vehicle before catching your onward flights
