An increasingly popular destination, Botswana offers wonderful opportunities for mobile tented safaris and game viewing.
Botswana is The Kingdom of the Elephants; in Chobe National Park alone there are over 45,000 and Chobe supports the densest populations of elephant, zebra and lions anywhere in Africa.
The beautiful Okavango - 'Jewel of the Kalahari' - is one of the world's largest wetland plains and sees the annual migration of plains game from the Savuti grasslands between April and November. One of the best methods of game viewing is from a horse and Botswana offers some of the best horse-back safaris in Africa.
A politically stable country specialising in low density tourism, Botswana is the essence of untouched wilderness, one of the few places where you might travel for many long hours and see no hint of human interference.
